We're excited to invite you to partake in the Volunteer Wildfire Services (VWS) Trail Challenge 2025 - an inspiring event that combines the beauty of Cape Town's mountains with the power of community support.
Taking place on Sunday 18 May, the annual trail run invites participants to tackle either a 10km or 20km route through the breathtaking terrain of Table Mountain, Devil's Peak, Deer Park, and the iconic Tafelberg contour path.
This year's event holds even greater significance. With VWS volunteers battling the recent 'Tokai wildfire' which spread rapidly across the Cape Peninsula just over a week ago, the Trail Challenge is a timely reminder of the vital role they play in protecting our natural spaces. Every entry and donation directly supports the brave individuals working tirelessly to safeguard our beloved Cape mountains, reserves, wildlife and properties.
